Go very light on the 100+ P/E ratio stocks and Crypto stuff ... you have to be able to risk comfortably losing a bunch in order for the chance to make a quick gain. You can invest $100,000 in Bitcoin and have it worth $60,000 the next day. It's way too late to get in on the ground floor.
Technology ... get in & out quick before someone else invents a better mousetrap. Nvidia good case in point:
Intel is a classic:
Food, oil and medical/pharma stocks which pay a dividend ... stuff people absolutely must have. They will grow over time without you having to nervously watch them. Meanwhile, they pay decent dividends which you can automatically reinvest if you don't need the income right now. Examples:
Unilever:
Valero Energy:
Eli Lilly:
Gold & silver coins ... buy and just tuck 'em away for a rainy day. I have yet to sell a coin.
Gold bullion:
Silver bullion:
Of course, investments in quality gold and silver coins significantly outperform spot metals, with virtually no downside risk ... if all else fails, they will never be worth less than their spot melt value.
Listen to the Oracle of Omaha and quit trying to become a billionaire overnight.
Of course, no investment will benefit if there's no money left over to invest.
It is possible to leverage wealth thru debt if you know what you are doing. For years, banks like Citi, BoA, Wells Fargo and Discover have offered credit card holders 12-24 month 0% interest purchases and 3% balance transfers and/or direct deposits, even during Biden's disgusting increase in interest rates. Banks in the aggregate have more money than they can lend, so they are willing to cut short-term deals with creditworthy patrons for marginal profits. PayPal (Synchrony Bank) offers 6-24 month 0% purchases. It is quite easy to rapidly ramp up investment balances as long as you meet your maturing obligations, which is the key to success. As long as you pay on time, they are only too glad to keep kicking the can down the road with back & forth balance transfers and additional cards. Never, never, never pay late, or the bubble will burst.
