Trump is imposing tariffs on imported beans from Brazil. Now how does that create jobs in the US? America does not produce coffee beans. We don’t grow them. So basically this is a politicized move to punish Brazil. Higher coffee prices here in the US will see fewer Starbucks consumers. Fewer customers means layoffs. Another example of biting off our nose to spite our face. Just saying.
