We hosted our neighborhood's National Night Out get-together last week.

We took down our political signs a few days before (We have elections for Governor, Lt Governor, and Attorney General coming up). We know that not everyone in the neighborhood leans our way, and wanted everyone to feel welcome anyway.

Our next door neighbors came. The people across the street came. The couple two houses over came. All Democrats. No problem. They all had a good time. We didn't talk politics. We were adults.

But Leonard didn't come. His wife did. But he's a child. Just can't cope. As if he's three years old, throwing a tantrum.
