It wasn't until my oldest was in high school that I realized the indoctrination method had trickled down to that level. Apparently, today, the indoctrination has seeped into the K-8 level.

I remember when the idea to home school erupted in the 90's - I knew many families that chose that route, although many had to enroll their children into public high school (something about the requirements from the state to graduate - I don't remember the details).

Garland's DOJ became very involved at the district level in the education system. The practices that became federally required are still in use.

It is a very very snarled mess - and there is no easy answer.
