Increasing the sanctions on Venezuela was only hurting the people...
...and not Maduro and his minions. He continued to send out his "Fishing Boats"  and trying to violate the existing oil sanctions. Every country in the world knew that he was a brutal Dictator. That's why he was only supported by the bad actors - China, Russia, Iran, etc. It's not as if we just threw a random indictment on some guy who nobody knew and then went in and got him. Hell, Maduro DARED Trump to come down and get him. Bad move. lol
