There is evidence that the Portland “victims” are associated with Tren de Agua and tried to run over officers with their vehicle (sound familiar?).

Why are people believing that they can drive their car into a federal law enforcement operation, and that’s somehow appropriate and safe for them?

It is understandable that some people don’t like the fact that these agents are enforcing existing immigration law, but laws don’t get changed by violently attacking law enforcement officials with your vehicle. If you don’t like the law, talk to your elected officials.

Democrats, especially, love to warn us that democracy is at stake every election. Then they quickly ignore democracy when elections don’t go their way.

We shouldn’t be engaging in political vigilantism. And some politicians shouldn’t be encouraging it by calling law enforcement officials Gestapo and telling them to “put their bodies on the line.”
