From the information available so far, this is a VERY different situation from the Minneapolis killing. This couple are under legitimate suspicion of being part of a known criminal gang (human traffickers Tren de Aragua). If that's the case, it would add massive credibility to the officers' claim that they "weaponized their vehicle," and fled the scene. One had been involved in a previous shooting incident. This was a targeted stop of people already under investigation and surveillance...not an unfortunate random happenstance involving someone who may very well have just been trying to flip a U-turn after dropping off her kid (her reason for being where she was hasn't been solidly determined yet).
