We have big cities like Los Angeles that are surrounded by mountains. The mountains hold in the smog and make it worse.
Sone of the money from gas taxes went to give me a $9,500 rebate for buying an EV. That was good for me, but I think it would have been better for the state if they just lowered the gas tax.
Elon Musk makes EV's that are fun to drive. Elon Musk makes EV's that some people want to drive even when they don't care about the environment. That seems like a better way to encourage EV use.
