When oil goes up so does everything else except your wages .

If we are going to criticize trump for expensive gas, we should criticize Governor Gavin Newsom even more. (I usually vote for democrats, but I am not a Newsom supporter.)

The more fuel cost the less people drive . Traffic is terrible in California pollution was worst till your fuel was better refined to cut down on pollution . More people like you should drive EV

We have big cities like Los Angeles that are surrounded by mountains. The mountains hold in the smog and make it worse.

Sone of the money from gas taxes went to give me a $9,500 rebate for buying an EV. That was good for me, but I think it would have been better for the state if they just lowered the gas tax.

Elon Musk makes EV's that are fun to drive. Elon Musk makes EV's that some people want to drive even when they don't care about the environment. That seems like a better way to encourage EV use.

Well till people start buying EV high fuel cost will remain that is the only deterrent to stop it

Europe has high fuel cost also because they don’t have the roads for all the cars ect

You posted a good valid question, but it also seems like the petroleum industry has received indirect subsidies for years because they have not been required to pay for all the environmental damage.

Apparently, neither have the law makers.

As it stands, fuel and road taxes(which EV users duck) are being circumvented and are being paid by IC users.
