The fact is the top one percent of the earners pay
about 40% of the taxes, but quite often not all of
the taxes they rightfully owe, and quite often they
engage in employing professional personnel to fill
out the forms and ready them to be signed, sealed
and delivered maybe is a worrisome indication
that 1% of the earners control 60% of the wealth...
How do you slice that pie?*

The bottom 50% of the population, who are paying
nearly 4% of all the taxes are usually paying 90 to
100% of what they owe, and may be paying more
because they do not have financial access to Tax
consultants who earn income working preparation
facilities, and ‘sweep’ income labeled “deductible”
or “sheltered”, and put it in a box on that table in
the room over there where no one looks**.

One of the unpleasant facts regarding capitalism
n taxation is when your financial acumen allows
you to operate within the system and generate
millions and millions of dollars of your personal
wealth, that increases the amount of taxes you
owe. Even when everyone’s income is taxed at
a fixed rate, and there are no loopholes waiting
to be filled before filing, gaining greater earnings
fairly means an increase in tax owed.

I only mention that because, now that all of my
deductible children r grown and gone n thank
the God, wake each dawn doing well, my 1040
Tax Forms have got a lot of kin come move in
with them at government behest.

Now that my earned incomes have reached a
retirement level n freed up some of my time
to idle about n think how those people, some
with a spouse and some kids, often not his;
have increasing food and fuel costs and rent
n power to pay; or maybe got lucky when the
market was down n signed a mortgage with
a decent interest rate; and then there’s
payments on the family transportation and
insurance you hope you never have to use,
and maybe a pick-up truck with a gun rack…
may find it a struggle to get by on 60 G a year***

I am not saying that any government should be
giving away free assistance to those Americans
in need, but I’d rather see that being done than
watching stockpiles of missiles and munitions
drastically reduced heedlessly and needlessly
causing division to satisfy someone’s position
and increasing the animosity felt by many of
those in the middle-east and some Americans,
who find it more difficult to be distracted by
noise of Trumpantics -
