Many of the poor and homeless are there because they made poor choices in life. Some even seem to enjoy that lifestyle. The truly needy comprise only a fraction. The freebies we've given them for decades and decades haven't helped but rather only compounded the problem and increased fraud.
And why should my tax $$$ be used to help the poor around the world?
