We don’t have to guess about this…we need only to look at history. Throughout history, capitalism has created opportunity for poor people.

Socialism is about control by a handful of elitists who think they know what is best for the masses. Capitalism is about freedom and voluntary choices that provide incentives to create value.

You cannot help poor people permanently by doing for them what they can and should do for themselves.
