Examples
leftists teaching our children to hate our country.
No more king's rallies.
Defund the police
Democrats fueling the racism cash cow, almost causing a civil war.
Billions in fraud.
Congressmen and senators selling out the country.
China owning hundreds of thousands of acres of farmland.
Large American companies bought out and owned by China.
China making our life-sustaining medication.

America is sick.' The list never stops.

I honestly think we as a nation are doomed.

As currently constituted? Probalby not.

I'm fine with that, too. Breaking the current continental US into between 6 and 8 regional polities would be the best outcome, if we can pull it off. Not all the way down to individual states (except possibly California): many are only dubiously viable in terms of sustaining an economy as an independent nation.

The country probably won't be that lucky, though. A dissolution that involves bloodshed and destruction is more "the American way," I fear.

CA, MN, IL & NY could be "divorced" now. Dixie is sustainable.

Worthwhile individuals and sustainable, profitable businesses will migrate to Dixie and Texas (which will be included in Dixie) like they are already doing.

Dixie will increase revenues by increasing prices on vehicular "exports" to politically-incompatible "foreign" polities.

The rust belt may end up as mainly as an agrarian entity.

CA and NY will tax themselves into starvation, then oblivion.

Dixie is indeed sustainable.

So is Cascadia.

A key to successfully "breaking up" into regional polities would be figuring out how to ensure that people who find themselves in the "wrong" polity in terms of their own political/cultural orientation have a workable way to relocate without there being insurmountable cost barriers. Not an easy problem...but perhaps solvable.

Lots more challenges (equitably dividing things like national debt, the US military, etc.), but I've feared for some time now that the alternatives are far worse.

Once that happens, Dixie will be a third world country.

Major Interstate arteries.

Multiple seaports.

Major medical/research centers.

Major banking and financial centers.

Major airports.

Major educational facilities (Vanderbilt, Duke, Emory, Rice, UNC)

Sustainable agriculture and food suppliers.

Leader in space exploration.

World-class entertainment, music, tourism, recreation in abundance.

Our "uneducated rednecks" are the heart of our sustainable manufacturing, shipping, distribution and logistics. They are also responsible gun owners. And, they have "street smarts", unlike the hand-wringing, birkenstock-wearing, white-wine-drinking, Volvo-driving woke-blokes in blue cities.
