So, evidently Trump didn’t get his way on trade destroying tariffs with Canada.

It is bad enough he wants to destroy free trade with manipulative tariffs. Not only is it executive overreach, it is bad for consumers and American job creation.

Trump’s response for not getting his way: Rename Lake Ontario to Lake America.

Yeah…..that’ll teach ‘em.

Hopefully his tantrum is ignored.

Lake America...is a silly statement to make, since Lake Ontario has been that Lake's name since the beginning of time.... And does make him look somewhat childish.....sadly!

The name Ontarí'io is most often translated from Wyandot as "beautiful lake.” It was named a long time ago by the indigenous people who have been here since time immemorial.

And they stole the land from the previous occupants...

Most carpets use synthetic fibers like nylon, polyester, and polypropylene derived from petroleum, a non-renewable resource that releases greenhouse gases during production. Improper disposal of used carpet can leach chemicals into the environment and take up a disproportionate amount of space in land fills.

But, hey Scalise. You got your profit, right? Concern for the environment is basically nonexistent at Christine Carpet.

Hell, it's been going on since mankind was rooting for berries...

I am pissed that Fairmont "modernized" the Le Reine Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal. I like the old pomp and circumstance.

Hotels are doing this everywhere.

The Ritz in Buckhead was gutted and became some no-name wannabe.

Marriott trashed the Park in Charlotte.

Sad.

rose wine there.. I mean REALLY rosé! It was delicious and heady.

Bakeries in the morning; were divine. I really didn't want to leave

Toronto has its good notes too, but somehow Montreal seemed richer to me.

I miss being able to drive over the border for some amazing Chinese (not fast food)

You just old boring things. Modern hotels are better than the outdated ones.

I stayed at the Fairmont in San Francisco a while back. It was stuffy and outdated. I guess old people still like what they like.
