All this hinges on the outcome of my heart monitor test next week. A test I have been referred for due to ectopic beats, something which I previously once had due oddly enough to a certain blood pressure medicine called Amlodipine which was promptly swapped to Verapamil.
At the end of the day all this may just be coincidence and I expect them to go for their fail safe of "lose weight" which seems to be the cure all for everything from a common cold to a fracture pelvis! (Laughs.)
I am glad of the NHS though and owe them a great deal plus your description of the "Hi there please have your charge card ready" style of US medicine fills me with horror.
