I've had my change rather enforced upon me but the principle still holds, for the last few days I've been thinking about writing again probably something vaguely to do with quantum mechanics only very loosely speaking.
What I will not require - a word to the wise - is any feedback along the lines of how clueless I am about the topic, kindly remember its only a story and probably nowhere near as misguided as some of the tripe I've recently read.
I suppose 'First Contact' gave me the idea of a story about how a working warp drive is accidentally invented by a young man who is at first aghast at what he's done (think Sorcerers Apprentice) and more concerned with covering up his sins.
ANYWAY
The two of us should both benefit from time away from the Club or at least any guilty notions we ought to keep the flag flying even though theres not much to say.
I liked the industrial look of your work under construction, it reminds me of that bloke from MTJ who went from model trains to fine scale (JOHN? An ex Marine? Nice layout)
I have always preferred the on the bedroom floor, heat of the moment, here today gone tomorrow aspect of tinplate trains because what you lose in realism you gain in interaction and occasional operating sessions with an accomplice that really make it feel like the real thing - well, in a way.
Nice trackwork too, I assume its not Peco but it does sort of look like it. Jolly interesting explanation and don't mind the fact that you had nowt to say because all I'm doing is trying to keep the pot simmering.
