Never saw the Potter films either, but I recall him from Gosford Park, a weird Altman film.

I remember him best from the only live Shakespeare I ever saw, Coriolanus, as presented at the old Morris Mechanic theater in downtown Baltimore. It’s a great story if you ever get the chance to see it.
