Whilst rule Britannia and the like leaves me unmoved and indifferent, not being a royalist I suppose may have some bearing on that, there is something about Jerusalem that moves me to tears especially when performed by a northern brass band and/or a male tenor and for the life of me I have no idea why.

Strange how something that has no bearing on ones present existence can affect one in some fashion.
