Same with me regarding Jerusalem and Rule Britannia. For me, the former played in a theatre or field house with a regimental band, the house organ with all the stops out, and a choir all together so the sound fills the hall to bursting, oh that carbonates both the blood and the hormones!

Rule Britannia, not so much. More an RN thing whilst I'm forever a soldier, probably.

I attended the Berlin Tattoo back in the 1980s, the massed pipes and bands filled the Deutschlandhalle and blew the roof off playing Jerusalem as a finale. What a thing to have witnessed!
