One wonders, then, if the North of Brythan is the only pocket of residence for the Fey. With the Germanic legends one might expect another community there, same with Norse, Baltic, &c.

Even in the New World before the arrival of the Europeans, the beliefs often bore a striking resemblance to those of pre-Abrahamic Europe. My understandings of Asia are limited, but I seem to remember hearing of similar in the Sub-continent, Japan, and amongst the Polynesian peoples.
