Yes a great big fat phoney lie!!

My disgust at this type of thing knows no bounds and I speak as a musician myself who was taken in by this dreck a short time ago when a friend sent me some jazz funk tracks (yes I know not to everyone's taste) which on casual listening I thought pretty damn good. However on closer inspection I found the brass sections sounded "off" if I can use that term? Something ersatz about the guitars and the vocals especially on sustained notes sounded, to repeat the expression, "off." I did some digging and discovered that like the Waters track they were AI generated and apparently not only is this type of thing flourishing but a vast swath of the younger generation who know no better may be conned, like myself, into thinking that this is the real deal.

No creativity involved just plug in an algorithm and demand it spit out muzak of any given genre and Robert is your dad's brother as they say.

Why bother paying an artist for their wares when you can download this muck for background listening.

I could say more but I haven't taken my blood pressure meds yet!!
