I read the most wonderful comment that sums this up in understatement.

He said something to the effect that AI might be ingenious but the application is "force-fit" and flawed. I can have AI do my art and my writing for me so I have more time to cut my grass, do my laundry, and wash up the dishes when what would benefit humanity and me personally is to do my own art and writing, if only I could find an AI entity to cut my grass, do my laundry, and wash up the dishes.
