So I am all settled in the new apartment and there is a mixture of excitement, fear, and adjusting. I've been walking every morning which is a joy of mine that I share with my father.
He always taught me to enjoy the magical around us.
That being said... I went outside tonight to have an after dinner smoke, so be it, I know it is bad for me, but I enjoy it.
An older gentleman was sitting in the community deck overlooking the river. When I came down he immediately picked up his phone and missed 2 fawns frolicking with each other against the shoreline.
Why is it that people would rather consume themselves in electronics to fill an uncomfortable moment than live in it. I find this frustrating. Sparking a conversation seems to be the hardest obstacle lately.
Anyway I guess that's really a gripe and groan
Here are some pics I've taken on my walking adventures.
