You'd have to believe at least the social mammals would all have that system in some manner, especially pack hunters.

We like to flatter ourselves by thinking we intellectually came up with this sort of thing ourselves, but I cannot believe much of what we claim as our own isn't shared with the other sentient species.

I watch them reason far to often and far too flawlessly to believe otherwise.
