I have the same things going on here with respect to the daily drivers.

My starving artist son is driving my 18 year old Jeep as he gets his employment feet on the ground and I have a 20-year-old Sub'y Forester I bought from a mate for easy money and spent some time and treasure waking up. Both are simple compared to the white-goods combined with pin-ball machines that are on offer today.

My wife's Leg Outback is eight years old and I find it more than annoying to drive what with all the tech-for-tech's-sake and modern impositions; too many distractions from the road around me and too much to break. I truly hate the thing.

I've taken the position that I will not buy a vehicle with a touch-screen. I'm old enough I should be able to defend that position successfully.

Meanwhile, I watched that vid yesterday having an enforced day of rest due to a bout of vertigo (if it ain't one thing...). I was as impressed with the abilities as much as I was aghast at the notion the guy spent a kilo-euro on what amounted to being a case and bracelet.
