To use one example you cite, I believe in equal fairness to everyone, and oppose mistreatment of trans people. But I also oppose trans ‘women’ participating in women’s sports. I don’t see those as equally bad.

And while Trump is vile, he’s just the popular figurehead of American Right, which is fascistic in nature. The Dem Party is a bunch of bunglers, but not fascists.
