It may never be the same again; at best it will take a generation to improve. But I don't know if we'll ever get back to a world run by serious, stable people again. A world with real values, other than money and success. Of course America's long been like that, but at least its leaders took their jobs seriously. Trumpism is the clown car of politics, a cheap, vulgar gang of conmen and creeps.

Even Nixon wasn't like this. Even Reagan. They acted seriously, and sometimes did something right. Bipartisanship existed, and worked at times.

Now? Thanks in no small part to the internet, one side can whip up absolute HATRED of the other side, dirty their candidates, attack their families..it's like the the Andrew Jackson/Martin van Buren election times ten and splashed onto mass communications. With Britain constantly interfering.
