I can't imagine how awful their lives have become as a result and don't want to minimize their pain. It isn't out of the realm of possibility that their are aliens living amongst us or who visit periodically, snatching random humans for whatever reasons they may have.

One of my favorite current shows is "Resident Alien". It addresses so many of those things within a humorous, dramatic approach. I enjoy watching it, but recognize that I would NOT find it humorous if the things that have happened to some of the characters in the show were to happen to me or those I care about.

No doubt, many of the people who suffer this way are ridiculed and dismissed as nut jobs. That's not fair nor is it kind.
