Sia, One concept I believe in is there might be just as many realities are there are things to experience them. Each of these realities are just as real as the person who is experiencing it.

I live mostly in my mind, seeing, hearing, feeling different parts of my reality as need be.

As the mind likes to feel things being part of a pattern, the mind fills in the gaps. Of course, each of his experiences different patterns of a given reality, and each mind fills in different gaps.

While each personal reality is different, those similar enough can be understood, while those quite different might not be understood at all.
Hence, some people you can understand and communicate with, and some you will always talk past with no communication.
