A part of me wishes that Israel could just be allowed to live in peace, even though they are engaging in genocide right now... and that Iran could have a regime change and also be allowed to live in peace, and that all of the terrorism would just subside. I highly doubt that will happen, however... especially where you have masses of the poor and disenfranchised who are looking for a leader to channel their frustrations. In the near term at least, I expect that there will be much pain to go around, especially if Iran somehow blocks that channel or Strait of Hormuz.
