I highly doubt that will happen, however... especially where you have masses of the poor and disenfranchised who are looking for a leader to channel their frustrations. In the near term at least, I expect that there will be much pain to go around, especially if Iran somehow blocks that channel or Strait of Hormuz.

Clearly, Netanyahu has been driving this bus, and now there seems to be no turning back. His budgets reduced the felon's deficit from $4.5 trillion to $1.2 trillion in four years. The felon's BBB alone will increase the deficit by $3.5 trillion more. The GOP capitalize on general public confusion over debt and deficit. When they bring up the debt issue, they ignore the fact when revenue pays it, all is good. Biden's budgets paid down the felon's first term deficit. That's even better. The felon branded a juvenile name for Newsom and calls everything he did and does a disaster. He doesn't mention specifics because there aren't any, and he doesn't know any. All he can say is "Newscum is a disaster." California could be part of the G7, and they'd rank behind the US, Japan, well ahead of the UK Germany, France, Canada and Italy. The Felon is stomping around upset because he wants a Nobel Peace Prize. He says Obama got one for nothing, and is so stupid he doesn't know why. I think there are several bunkers deep in the mountainsides, too, stocked with missiles and whatnot. A very touchy situation. We have occasionally seen those stealth bombers in our skies, too, since there is an Air Force base not far from here. Haven't noticed any unusual activity lately, though.
