It's been this hot before, but usually in late July or into August. Occasionally. Not yearly!

The last time it was THIS HOT for several days was in the summer of 1986 when a massive heat wave hit the entire east coast for around a week. HOT days for us are when it occasionally rises up into the 90s during mid summer. Normal summer temps are in the high 70s to mid 80s, while early summer/late spring (like right now) are in the high 60s to mid 70s. This is most unusual for this time of year as well as for New England.
