The last movie I saw in a threater was The Pnantom Menace. Now I have played with the orchestra when we did "Star Wars." One work I absolutely love for its breathtaking complexity; Battle of the Heroes.
I have YET to see the movie!
I have to tell you performing this music is exhausting and draining. More so than any other music I ever played, including the big Rach Concerti. The sustained intensity of this requires laundering of my tux after a performance.
You can look away from a painting, but you can't listen away from a symphony
