I doubt I'm the only one who's ever gotten something this dumb given that it's not the first or only time it's happened.

A couple of years ago it happened twice with a different insurance company but for a much larger amount both times. What made those so dumb was that I was still a customer, so all they had to do was credit my account for the overage and let me know in my next statement so it was well documented.

Instead, they mailed me a check both times, and both times by certified mail. So perhaps even dumber than what Anthem did?
