Remember, at the height of his popularity, only about 33+% of eligible voters voted for him. That includes the entire MAGA crowd with the "justvdontvwant a DEM crowd who simply held their collective noses.

Many Americans simply don't vote because they are disengaged from politics. If we don't pinch them HARD now, they may sit back waiting for others to fix it and not engage until it is too late.

Still, my point is that trump was never all that popular to Americans. I've read that less than half who voted for him are MAGA and many of the former MAGA absolutely oppose him now. Most of the nose holders oppose most of what he is doing.

trump has utterly failed to do any of the things important to his supporters and has actively hurt many of them with more pain coming.

I suspect that by next spring, his support will be SO MINIMAL that the GOP leadership will FINALLY take him on.

I also suspect that he will likely die within the next year or so. Vance does NOT command the power or respect that dt has enjoyed.
