I never mentioned it and being a loner, I did not have those kinds of social interactions. The only place I ever had a bad reaction was at the American Legion, where WWII veterans told me it was not a real war. They did not think that I deserved the benefits that they were getting. I still don't deal with so-called vet organizations.

It would interest me to see how more recent veterans are being treated,better, worse, or similar.
