I wasn’t able to attend as we were traveling again. So glad to see that so many turned out.

My daughter planned a family vacation several months ago for us to go to Peru, and we just got home last night. Almost wasn’t allowed to get on the plane from Cusco to Lima coming home. There was a typo in my name that we thought had been corrected well before the trip, but somehow they took me out of the computer system for that one leg of the trip and didn’t get me back in with the correct spelling. There were six of us traveling together and I was the only one who was flagged. They said it was impossible for me to get on the plane since I wasn’t in the system… so long story short, after us showing them that I had a confirmation number from the airlines, and getting on the phone with the airline, and demanding the ticket counter agents to get their supervisor… it came down to the wire and they finally got me in the system just in time before the plane took off. My husband and daughter were telling them that they were not going to get on the plane and leave me there… very stressful, but it got worked out in the end! Probably dt was trying to get me deported… LOL
