I Peru or here in America? It's strange that you were able to board here but stopped in Peru.

What, exactly, was wrong? A misspelling of your name or something else?

My daughter J had an issue when booking a trip to Costa Rica with husband, B, and their kids last February. There was a discrepancy between her passport and NH drivers license where her passport had a hyphen between maiden and married name while her license did not. (It shouldn't have hyphen because she doesn't use one for anything) Somehow, one got inserted into her passport info when she traveled to British Columbia a few years ago and she didn't notice.

However, that happened HERE prior to her flight so there was no danger of being stranded on foreign soil. It's weird that it happened to you AFTER leaving the country.
