It is only the filibuster that has stopped DEMs from fulfilling campaign pledges as well as getting many good ideas into law.

So it is the GOP who absolutely wants the filibuster kept intact.

Now, if they used it as written and actually addressed congress for as long as they could and took turns spending hours talking, singing, etc. to stop a vote, then it would be okay. Those opposed would have to actually work to prevent any vites.

But they don't do that. Nowadays, they simply have to say they plan to filibuster and it is considered a done deal.

THAT IS BULLSH*T. Put your time and effort behind your filibuster until you no longer can. EARN it.
