If I'd chosen BOUND, which is what I'd meant to say I was teetering between with DOUGH (and not HOUND), and it was wrong but the _OUND was right, my line 4 would have been the flanger WHARF to rule in or out the W, H, or F, leaving only MOUND if none were right. So either a win on line 3, 4, or 5. (NOTE: the _OUND has 8 possible answers but RAISE & POUTY eliminated the R, P, & S)

*Additionally, my plan was also that if DOUGH came up shy on line 3 and it was NOT _OUGH at all, then it was most certainly _OUND. Then the same flanger WHARF would tell me the right answer by line 4 and I'd get it in 5. That's assuming that the H didn't pop in guessing DOUGH, because it if had, then HOUND was the right answer without the need for a flanger at all.

So, sometimes I don't go strictly on impulse, but plan it out and THEN go with whatever "feels right", knowing I have an escape route if it bombs.

THAT is how I've managed to have a perfect score of 1321 games without a single loss. I know the day will come eventually that I won't get it in 6 and I'll be sad for a bit, but it won't last.

Just doing a little bragging there. LOL and adding my 2 cents worth regarding my method since SKYE kindly shared hers below in this thread.

Truth is, I kinda need a lift today is all. Lotsa stupid medical crap going on right now with 2 new infections and multiple abnormal test results in pre-surgery testing for another major fusion surgery coming next week Tuesday.

If the blood test results and infections don't clear beforehand, there will be another damn delay and i just cant stand this degree of pain much longer! They are letting severe anemia pass, but not the rest of the bad results. They (and I) don't want a repeat of the complications from a previous surgery where I almost didnt survive it.

I have to stop several of my meds, including 2 of my immunosuopressants, for a week ahead, so it's only gonna get MORE painful this week not being able to take them to control the RA & Crohn's along with some of my routine pain meds that I really need to be comfortable.

So please forgive me if I am a crank-box now and again.
