I just got the tree and decorations up and have been looking forward to a more tranquil time over the Christmas season... trying to be more optimistic that dt's days are numbered and this nightmare will surely be over once people start to realize the gravity of all the lies and malfeasance of this administration. But... I'm afraid there will be far reaching ripple effects, even after people wake up and vote him out. You are right. These are not normal times. We must remain vigilant.

Just watched Rachael Maddow on the Colbert show. She really has such scope and clarity of what has and is happening, and puts it all in perspective. She talked about the illegal killings in the Caribbean under the pretense of fighting a drug war, yet Trump just pardoned the biggest drug trafficker ever, the former Honduran president, who was convicted and sentenced to 45 years in prison... and how much time Trump's golf buddy, Witkoff, has been spending with Putin drawing up their so-called 'peace plan', and how our former allies are no longer sharing intelligence with us because of all the illegal craziness going on. Here is Russia with BY FAR the largest land mass of any country on earth already, and they have an economy the size of Italy's... and yet, they somehow want or need more land... and somehow Putin owns and controls Donald Trump who is playing right into his hands. It is simply crazy.

We must stay vigilant.
