He has a point. We can't just wish or pray the trouble away. The madmen leadership driving this won't stop fot this religious season, or any other reason. They will exploit it. The Shepherds stood watch, and ae must too.

What if the shepherds were asleep when the Angel appeared? How different the Christmas story might be, even though it was altered to fit a narrative. It is prudent at this time to literally sleep with one eye open.
