Mum has come through A LOT so far and is holding her own. She is off of all life support machines -- She is breathing without assistance and her heart is beating on its own.

She has regained control over most of her left side again but still has major weaknesses in the strength of both legs, especially her left. The DVT in her left calf continues to cause trouble there.

However, her pain levels have skyrocketed and docs are unable to get and stay ahead of it to keep it more bearable. She is very heavily medicated so gets mixed up a lot.

She may pop in to read or post soon. Don't expect a lot, trying to coordinate her fingers to type is very difficult on the phone screen and she tires quickly.
