But he doesn't seem to care what his heart or morality looks like... not any more. He knows he lies. He knows that others know he lies. He knows he is now sanctioning murder, theft, pedophilia and whatever else, and he knows other people know it, too. He doesn't care anymore, if he ever did to begin with. "When you're a star, they let you do it." He doesn't think he needs to worry about laws or justice or the Constitution or even the next election anymore. All he has to do is lie, distract, corrupt and twist it any way he wants to. He has convinced himself that he can get away with anything. And he gloats in all that perceived "power"... that he can never seem to get enough of.
