People either never knew, or forgot.
He used to call Howard Stern on his show in NYC as "John Barron." pretending to be somebody else named John Barron, and he ranted on and on with praise for Donald Trump and specifically how wealthy he was. I recall one show where he bragged about how Donald Trump had caught every sexually transmitted disease known during his jet set playboy years around Club 54.
He defrauded his own father out of undisclosed millions by producing documents listing him as Fred's partner, to obtain bigger loans. At one point he bankrupted his father! Roy Cohen manipulated things to save Fred Trump's business.
