Certainly it must be a conundrum that he is paralyzed in his lower body, couldnt feel a femur break, but reacts to his feet being tickled even without feeling it.

I'm really sorry to hear that his femur break didn't heal properly so he cannot stand up. I never imagined that someone paralyzed with no voluntary control of lower body could ever stand, never-ending walk!
It has been a huge struggle for me to walk correctly when my entire left leg was fiery pins and needles. Thankfulkyvnow only my left knee and the top of my left foot are consistently on fire.
