It's old and new. I've driven through that area many times to get to jobs nearby. It's also a very busy corridor to go in and out or just skirt downtown.

1 mile west is one of the most affluent neighborhoods within Minneapolis city limits in The Chain of Lakes area. I've worked on many houses doing many types of work in that neighborhood.

1 mile South of there is where Renee Good was shot. 6 blocks further George Floyd murder. It's an older Middle class neighborhood where I've done similar jobs. I know many people who live in this area.

I see a lot of media that seems to imply its a collection ghettos. It's not so. Sure there are pockets of real estate that age differently and change like every big city.

I live in the sister city.
