Some may say that this attack on Iran is perhaps the right thing for the wrong reasons. It’s an attack on a brutal regime and sponsor of terrorism in other countries as well as its own. But the hypocrisy and motives, especially by a lawless and apparently unaccountable US president, who also apparently aspires to be a brutal dictator and aggressor, is astounding. But then some may say that trump is the only one who could get away with these illegal actions that needed to be done to bring down a brutal, unjust and terrorist regime.

The real problem seems to be with the widespread cultural beliefs and traditions of monotheism, which promotes belief in ‘one God’ with a ‘might makes right’ theology, which is the antithesis of law and order, justice, and a civilized society and world.

The irony is that the US… the purported leader and defender of freedom, democracy and justice… installed the Shah in Iran many years ago in what was previously a democratic country… which has led to this moment. And why did we do that? To protect western oil interests, and concern over Iran potentially aligning with the Soviet Union.
