It always seems to be the most immoral people (Evangelists, Fascists, Communists, any religious zealot) who are the most dedicated to improving OUR morality. Never their own.
Beware the crusader, the religious nut (Jim Jones, anyone?) , the political reformer. We revere certain people (Jesus, Buddha, FDR) in those areas because they’re EXCEPTIONS to the rule, I think.
