Also, I can more readily control the dose. Today's pot is SO MUCH stronger than the pot of yesteryear. One hit can make you high. An entire joint can knock you off your feet.

Unfortunately for me, pot tends to increase my pain by making me focus on it too much. So I seldom indulge nowadays.
